ILLEGAL POSSESSIONS OF FIREARM
32-year-old Abubakar Yahaya Ibrahim and two others were stopped by police officers at about 2am in Igbo Elerin area. Though all three fled, Abubakar was eventually apprehended and searched. Found in his bag were a locally fabricated double-barrel firearm, one expended and one live cartridge.
Investigation is ongoing.
