PRESS RELEASE   TRADITIONAL RULERS VISIT IGP EXPRESS CONFIDENCE IN HIS LEADERSHIP


 

The Nigeria Police force leadership received more boast today 2nd August, 2016 as the Traditional Rulers from Lavun Local Government in Niger State led by the Emir of Kutigi, Alhaji Husseini Wuchi paid a courtesy call on The Inspector-General of Police, Ag. IGP Ibrahim K. Idris, NPM, mni.

During the visit, the Emir of Kutigi, stated that the visit is to congratulate him, show their solidarity and support to the IGP for his new appointment. He further, on behalf of other Traditional Rulers present expressed confidence in his leadership qualities which he believes would take Nigeria Police force to an enviable height. In addition, he also suggested that more Police Stations be built in Kutigi to improve the Police presence in the community.

The IGP in company of his management team thanked the Royal Fathers for coming and expressed profound gratitude for the honour and respect done on him. The IGP acknowledge that the Emir of Kutigi played a fatherly role in his life and appreciated his advice and confidence reposed in him. He further promised to look into their request.
