This also reflects the shared vision of the leaders of the two countries: President Muhammadu Buhari of Nigeria and King Mohammed VI of Morocco.

They are in favor of a sustainable, active and solidarity-based joint security development for the two countries.

Since the coming of Buhari to power, King Mohammed of Morocco has been very keen on seeing an improved bilateral relationship between Nigeria and Morocco.

In May this year, the two countries signed two bilateral agreements, one of which was the Joint Initiative on the Morocco-Nigeria Gas Regional Pipeline.

The second bilateral agreement was on the Second Phase of the Fertilizer Initiative that would resuscitate about 11 blending plants which would produce more than one million tonnes of fertilizer, create over 200,000 jobs and guarantee farmers in Nigeria access to the quantity of fertilizer they need.

Morocco is a shining example of irrigation farming and good security solutions in Africa.

As an ardent advocate of synergy and strategic relationships in the search for solutions to Nigeria's security challenges, IGP Ibrahim Idris is always on the move, calling for ways of building capacity through collaboration.

He travelled to Morocco from Lagos, after delivering a lecture at Eko Hotel and suites, on providing strategic solutions to emergent security challenges.

This visit to Morocco, which is the second since he became the IGP, is aimed at strengthening strategic Security relations between Morocco and Nigeria, for the benefit of both countries.

Amongst those on the entourage of IGP Idris is Hon. Abubakar Chika Adamu, member House of Reps. committee on police, representing Shiroro/Rafi/Munya.

Chika is a patriot and radical comrade that has education /capacity building as his legislative Interest, in the line of which, he targets improving the standard of the Nigerian system, through the formulation of a better policing policy.
